After 18-years in storage, this Corvette underwent a complete, documented restoration in 2008. While keeping its original lines, color and the base engine of the production vehicle; modifications to the performance and visual packages, including the interior, make this car stand out while retaining its definitive heritage. It includes a 1966 Corvette brochure and owner’s manual.
Period specific parts include -Tires, wheels, steering wheel, carburetor, intake, heads, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, oil filter can and fan.
The rebuilds and modifications are as follows:
Milano Maroon modified 327 to 400/400 Vortec specs Muncie M20 four- speed.
Engine: Gary Johns Performance, Jacksonville, FL. Vortec induction enhanced for horsepower and torque
Transmission: Rebuild and add Hurst linkage
Brakes: Rebuild complete
Tires & Wheels: Goodyear on American Mags
Steering: Converted to power steering
Cooling: Aluminum radiator with electric fan and a new heater core
Interior: Door panels, seats, dash and wheel
